Timber studs / Brick / Cement Walls
We recommend our Floating Shelves are installed by a
qualified Tradesman as they must be installed into timber wall studs, brick or cement to hold the weight. We supply metal rods and instructions for the install. A link to instructions are included on your confirmation email.
If you would like holes pre-drilled into your floating shelf
please leave us a note at checkout with the measurements you would like drilled (wall stud locations) or if your wall is brick or cement we don’t need ameasurements, we will drill them in proportion to the shelf size.
Please read the FAQs below for more information.
Steel studs
We do have a solution if your house is steel framed. The weight your wall will hold completely depends on the strength of your gyprock, a tradesperson will be able to advise. We sell brackets here and you can choose an option for them to be rebated into the shelf prior to them leaving our warehouse.
