Floating Desk with drawer

Our latest addition, the NEW Floating Desk (pictured in Pinewood), now features a convenient drawer. This desk has an overall depth of 570mm, with an internal melamine drawer height of 70mm and an external drawer front height of 115mm.

Designed to maximise floor space, our floating desks offer a clutter-free workspace that elevates the ambiance of any room. We recognise the uniqueness of every space, offering a range of sizes to match your specific needs and personal style. If our standard sizes don't fit your requirements, please request a custom quote.

Installation of our Floating Desk is recommended to be carried out by a qualified Tradesman, ensuring they are securely mounted into timber wall studs or brick. Metal rods are supplied for installation instead of prong brackets. If you prefer holes to be pre-drilled into your desk, please indicate the measurements at checkout, especially for wall stud locations. For brick or tiled walls, we will proportionally drill the holes based on the desk size.

Please be aware that different tradesmen may use varying fixings depending on the wall stud positions and materials. The Timber Line cannot be held responsible for installation issues. For further details, consult our FAQs or contact us with any questions.

Note that due to the handmade nature of our products, woodgrain may vary slightly from the images shown. Additionally, the price is for one desk shelf only and excludes styling items.

Do not use harsh chemicals to clean, use a soft damp cloth and clean spills immediately.

Delivery is $30, excluding custom orders.

We have a current production time of up to 3 weeks. Please refer to our shipping policy for Christmas cutoff dates.

Timber studs / Brick / Cement Walls

We recommend our Floating Desks are installed by a
qualified Tradesperson as they must be installed into timber wall studs, brick or cement to hold the weight. We supply metal rods and instructions for the install. A link to instructions are included on your confirmation email.

If you would like holes pre-drilled into your floating desk
please leave us a note at checkout with the measurements you would like drilled (wall stud locations) or if your wall is brick or cement we don’t need measurements, we will drill them in proportion to the shelf size.

Steel studs

We do have a solution if your house is steel framed. The weight your wall will hold completely depends on the strength of your gyprock, a tradesperson will be able to advise. We sell brackets here and you can choose an option for them to be rebated into the shelf prior to them leaving our warehouse.
