The timber samples were the perfect way to choose the colour of our planned floating shelves. We'll be ordering 2 x 1.3m pre drilled shelves in Tassie Blackwood as soon as our carpenter confirms the distance between the studs.
Store owner replied: So glad the samples helped you land on the colour! Tasmanian Blackwood is a beautiful choice. Can't wait to see them up 😊
Really helpful to grab samples! What we thought the wood looked like online was different to the real thing. Helps us make the right choice of colour, grain and style. Also nice that we receive thick sample chunks, think same thickness as what shelves would be.
Store owner replied: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're really glad to hear the samples were helpful. Seeing the timber in person definitely makes a big difference — the colour, grain and texture can vary so much from what you see online.
Great way to see how timber works with space. Completely changed my selection for our project.

Always great to receive a great sized real sample of what you will be getting. Great product and service. Have since gone on to purchase the shelves too.

Quick order turn around and great sample sizes and colours - samples make it easier to visualise my project
Great samples. Really helps to make a decision on what type of wood to use.
Such a good way to see the colours of the timber. Even better they have doubled as building blocks for my toddler.
Nice samples

The sample box is great to see the tones of the wood in the home environment - crazy how much the colour can change depending on the lighting of the space.

I have already purchased some curved floating shelves in Tasmanian oak in the past. I’m extremely excited about the other timbers now on offer and wanted some samples to choose. Samples are great (decent size). We are about to renovate, and will be choosing a few different timbers for different areas. Can’t wait.
Store owner replied: Thanks for your feedback! Great to hear you're enjoying our timber samples and exploring options beyond your previous Tasmanian Oak shelves!
Great option to offer clients, we wanted to make sure we chose the right wood to fit our house!

Was really handy to look at the different oak samples in my space as I couldn't tell which would look best just from the photos online.
